Drawing on his extensive experiences as President and CEO of Greensboro Radiology in North Carolina, Dr. Strong is leveraging the wisdom he gained growing that business into one of the best known and most highly regarded medical practices in the triad region. While at Greensboro Radiology, Dr. Strong spearheaded the implementation of several highly successful technological upgrades spanning the hospital network which significantly increased productivity, decreased costs, improved communications throughout the organization and enhanced patient care.
And, he didn't stop there. Recognizing the stress and anxiety a patient experiences, Dr. Strong's innovative thinking led him to the extraordinary step of looking outside the medical industry to seek solutions for implementing service excellence and enhancing the patient experience. He partnered with the Ritz Carlton Training Division, a leader in service excellence, so he could draw from their successful model to improve the patient experience through compassion and professionalism. The response from patients was overwhelming and the success of the program became a distinguishing feature of Greensboro Radiology.
As CEO and Chairman of Bankers Financial Corporation, Dr. Strong brings this same focus and commitment to the organization. Guiding the leaders of BFC's affiliates and subsidiaries, he is once again, looking outside his own industry to seek innovative solutions that will transform the entire organization into one of exceptional transparency, trust, service and value.

He has also been a real estate broker and developer since his junior year in college, and has been actively involved in banking as well. He was the primary organizer of the Bank of Florida in St. Petersburg and its parent, the Bank of Florida Corporation, which was later acquired by SouthTrust Banking Corporation. In addition to his other responsibilities at Bankers, Bob is also Chairman of the Board of First Community Bank of America.
In 1986, Bob was honored as "Insurance Man of the Year" by the Florida Association of Domestic Insurance Companies. He is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows, and has been involved in a wide range of local and national organizations, from the University of Florida President's Council to the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. In 2008, he was inducted into the Hall of Distinction of St. Petersburg College for his significant contributions.

David Meehan has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on corporate management, sales and marketing. He joined Bankers in 1973, was appointed Corporate Secretary in 1976 and President in 1979.
In 1988 he was named Chairman of the National Marketing Committee for the federal WYO flood insurance program, serving under four different Federal Insurance Administrators. He is the founding President and past Chairman of the Flood Insurance Servicing Carrier Association of America. In 1999 David was honored for his outstanding contributions in support of the National Flood Insurance Program and The Federal Emergency Management Agency.
He holds current 2-18 and 2-20 Florida insurance licenses. He was appointed to the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission by Governor Jeb Bush in 1999 and elected Chairman of that group in 2001. He has held leadership positions in state and national insurance organizations and serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Business and Home Safety.
